Freeway Table

Commissioned by Ceramic Artist Adam Silverman for an exhibition of his work at the Edward Cella Gallery, this display table is designed with wHY’s ‘no-trash design policy’ in mind; all the materials for the table – wood planks and sawhorses were just assembled together and were returned to their places after the exhibition with no trash left behind.  The form of the table took root from LA’s overlapping freeway systems, making a multi-level plinth for the various vessels and ceramic forms.
