Among the catalysts are SKYLANDING, a sculpture and landscape designed in collaboration with the Japanese artist and peace activist Yoko Ono, and replacing a parking lot with a new multi-functional pavilion for events,
performances and exhibitions. The Music Pavilion’s wood construction inspired by the original Japanese pavilion on the Wooded Island. The new Pavilion has received several design approvals and is in fundraising stage.
