The AAFCA Podcast: Episode 28 with WHY Creative Director, Kulapat Yantrasast

“When you walk into a room, you know which room is alive and which room is dead—what conversation is alive and what conversation is dead. We all have an intrinsic instinct to know what is attractive to us. Especially for a project like this—a museum—it is important to let people discover. No one wants to be told, no one wants to directed and narrated. […]
It is so important to create a space that feels “living,” because we are living. And when you walk into a place or feel something that’s alive, you want to be a part of it. […] It’s not just about the art—it’s about people. People need to feel welcome, people need to feel appreciated, and people need to feel that they’re being allowed to explore with their senses. That’s kind of who I am—I like to design something that allows people to be curious.”
