America Place Headquarters

The America Place Headquarters celebrates the meeting of Culture and Commerce with an 11-acre office and retail project at heart of the 6,000-acre River Ridge Commerce Center, located just minutes from downtown Louisville.

The affectionately-dubbed Gallery Place features acts a welcome center for the “art quality” business park development originally built in the 1940s as part of the Quartermaster Depot of the United States Army.

FORM AND FUNCTION

Anchored by two three-story buildings, the America Place Headquarters uses skin-and-shell construction, with the interior spaces designed to maximize visual connections to the site and natural light—an inviting, contemporary atmosphere where companies and their team can bask in the works by KAWS, Kehinde Wiley, and Olafur Eliasson, while thriving in a comfortable environment.

The facility balances nature and a sense of center, featuring its high ceilings and a flexible floor plan capable of accommodating various meeting sizes, simultaneous events and areas to be used as offices if desired.
